Home and Community Care Block Grant
The WPCOG Area Agency on Aging works with service providers in Alexander, Burke, Caldwell and Catawba Counties in administering the Home and Community Block Grant. The purpose of the grant is to provide services that assist older adults in living independently in their homes for as long as possible. Services provided through the grant include congregate nutrition, home delivered meals, medical and general transportation, adult day care, in-home aide, information and case assistance, housing and home improvement, and senior center operations.
