Web Hosting and Design
General Website Design:
For local governments, the WPCOG Data Center can design and host websites and train employees in how to use the design.
GIS Website Design (ArcIMS):
For local governments, WPCOG can create an interactive website which allows users on the Internet to interact with, download and / or print out zoning, parcel, and deed information, as well as city boundaries and extra-territorial jurisdiction areas (ETJs). WPCOG can also host such a website and keep it up-to-date with the most recent zoning, parcel, aerial photography, and 3-D topographical information. WPCOG now uses SDE and SQL server technology with ArcIMS for higher performance interactive maps served through the internet.
Logo Design:
For governmental agencies (i.e. municipalities, recreation departments, etc.), WPCOG can design a color logo according to the client’s specifications, publish it in a variety of formats, and distribute the logo to whatever individuals or agencies the client wishes.
Scanning:
WPCOG can scan (up to 4’ wide) and reproduce large format documents, and enhance or improve images once they are scanned. This may be useful for preserving and/or cataloging old maps or schematics of county / municipal resources (such as water systems, gas lines, etc.).
