Our goal is to provide information about our housing programs, services to our customers, and contact information.

Section 8, the federal government’s most important program for helping families find safe, affordable housing in the private market, is administered through the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. Participants are free to choose any housing that meets program requirements. The Section 8 program works with landlords willing to comply with regulations after meeting certain program guidelines.

The Regional Housing Authority (RHA) provides rental assistance to income-eligible families in the unifour area. The region includes Alexander, Burke, Caldwell and Catawba counties. The RHA is allocated 1,377 units within the unifour region with more than 500 landlords currently participating on the program.

We work to enhance the quality of life for the people we serve by offering our participants opportunities to participate in a multitude of special programs. Please check our website regularly for updates.
