Catawba Valley Community College Small Business Center Network

Caldwell Community College Business Center
A network comprised of 58 Small Business Centers throughout North Carolina, supports the development of new businesses and the growth of existing businesses by being a community-based provider of training, counseling, and resource information. A Small Business Center is located within 30 minutes of nearly everyone in the state at the local Community College.

 

Western Piedmont Community College Small Business Center
Provides free one-to-one counseling for business owners or prospective owners to assist them in getting started or with a specific area of concern. Counseling can cover a variety of topics ranging from licensing and marketing to patents and trademarks. Please complete this counseling request form to schedule your appointment or call (828) 448-6719.

 

Catawba County Chamber of Commerce
Offers one-on-one free counseling on the third Tuesday of every month (by appointment).

Small Business Technology and Development Center (SBTDC)
Provides free, confidential business management counseling in the areas of financing, marketing, human resources, operations, business planning, strategy, feasibility assessment, government procurement, international, business development and technology development. NC State Industrial Extension Service
Industrial Extension Service at NC State University offers a variety of reasonably priced consulting services for manufactures in the areas of: construction, energy, environmental issues, facility layout and management, modern manufacturing methods, quality, health and safety. Call (828) 327.4550
